Durak Peak FAQ
Ads, coins, offline play, private rooms, account deletion — the questions players actually ask.
Is Durak Peak free?
Yes. Every ruleset, every deck size, offline and online, at no cost. There are optional coin packs, optional rewarded ads you choose to watch, and a one-off purchase that removes the between-match ads. Nothing is behind a paywall.
Does it have ads?
Between matches, yes — full-screen ads, paced so they do not interrupt a round and never during play. You can also choose to watch a short ad to earn coins; that one is always your decision. A one-off purchase removes the between-match ads for good.
Can I play offline?
Yes. The full game against bots runs with no connection at all, at Easy, Medium and Hard difficulty, and your match history is kept on the device. Online play, the leaderboard and coin stakes are the only parts that need a connection.
Can I play with friends?
Open a private room, choose the deck, the seat count, the rules and the turn clock, then share the invite code. Anyone with the code takes a seat.
How many players?
Two to six. The deck has to cover six cards per player, so a 24-card deck seats up to four; larger tables need 36 or 52 cards.
What is the difference between throw-in and transfer Durak?
In throw-in Durak (Podkidnoy) the defender must beat every card played, and other players may add more cards of a rank already on the table. Transfer Durak (Perevodnoy) adds one escape: hold a card of the rank being played and you can pass the whole attack to the next player instead of defending it. The full rules cover both.
What is a tricky table?
A table where breaking a rule on purpose is allowed — and where every other player can challenge a move they think was illegal. A cheat that goes unnoticed stands; a caught one costs you. Challenge wrongly and the cost is yours. It is off by default.
Are coins real money? Is this gambling?
No. Coins are a virtual in-game balance used to set the stake at a table. They cannot be exchanged for money, sent to another player, or cashed out, and free tables with no stake are always available.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start as a guest in one tap and play everything. Signing in with Google or Apple keeps your rank, coins and friends across devices, and lets you recover them if you change phone.
What happens if I lose connection mid-match?
Your seat is held and the match lives on the server, not on your phone. Reopen the app and you are back at the same table with the same hand. The turn clock keeps the round moving while you are away, so you may have missed a turn — but not the match.
Can other players cheat?
on a normal table. Every move is validated on the server before it is accepted, so a modified client cannot play a card the rules forbid. On a tricky table cheating is a feature, and the challenge system is how the table polices it.
Which languages does it support?
Azerbaijani, Russian and English — the whole game, not just the menus.
Which devices?
iPhone and iPad on iOS, and Android phones and tablets. There is no browser version.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. It removes your profile, leaderboard entries and online match history. Details are on the account deletion page.
